UEFA signs up SEAT as main sponsor of Europa League

SEAT has signed up to be primary sponsor of UEFA's new European club football competition, the Europa League.

The Volkswagen-owned car marque has signed a deal with UEFA lasting until the end of the 2011-12 competition.

'Sponsoring the UEFA Europa League is a great way to increase awareness of SEAT with our target audience,' said  Steve Robertson, head of marketing at SEAT UK.

'Over the two seasons we will use this opportunity not only through programme advertising sponsorship on ITV4 and Five, but also in promotional activity, to bring the association to
